PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cleansing cosmetic which is smooth in use, excels in spreadability on the skin, massaging properties, and rinsability, has a good cleansing effect, and furthermore has good stability with time.
SOLUTION: The cleansing cosmetic includes (A) a polar oil, (B) a nonionic surfactant having an HLB of smaller than 7, (C) a nonionic surfactant having an HLB of not smaller than 7, (D) an alkyl-modified carboxyvinyl polymer, and (E) an acylamino acid type surfactant.
