PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that the visibility of an observation image is damaged by a menu superimposedly displayed in a display screen.SOLUTION: An image processor includes image generation means for generating an observation image, display means for displaying the generated observation image in a prescribed observation image display area within a display screen, superimposition means for superimposedly displaying a prescribed menu in the display screen, and insertion determination means for determining whether an electronic scope is inserted into a body cavity.
