PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an endoscope apparatus, preventing an insert part from moving unexpectedly and surely fixing the tip of the insert part over a long period of time in a subject.
SOLUTION: This endoscope apparatus includes: a balloon 4 provided on the outer periphery of a distal end side in the insert direction S of a sheath 1 to fix the distal end side of the sheath 1 in a conduit and a pipe fixing part 36, a traction operating ring 37, a screw 38, a traction drum part 39, a sheath fixing ring 40, and an O-ring, which are provided on the outer periphery of a part of the sheath 1 that is located outside the conduit to draw the sheath 1, the distal end side of which is fixed in the conduit by the balloon 4, backward in the insert direction S, and fix the part of the drawn sheath 1 that is located outside the conduit 100 in an insert opening to the interior of the conduit 100.
