PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a disposable wearing article capable of preventing a connection between front and rear body peripheral zones from being disconnected in use.
SOLUTION: The disposable wearing article 1A include front and rear body peripheral zones 4 and 6, and a crotch zone 5 positioned between the body peripheral zones 4 and 6, and engagement members 11 which extends in the vertical direction and are fit to the inner surfaces of both side parts 10 of the rear body peripheral zone 6. The engagement members 11 further include fixed parts 18 fixed to the side parts 10 of the rear body peripheral zone 6 and first free parts 19 extending from the fixed parts 18 to the transverse center of the rear body peripheral zone 6. locking elements are formed on the inner surfaces I of the fixed parts 18 and the first free parts 19, and both side parts 10 of the rear body peripheral area 6 are disengageably fixed to the inner and outer surfaces of the front body peripheral zone 4 through the engagement members 11.
