PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an X-ray diagnostic apparatus accurately setting a scanning range for a subject without performing the scanogram using X-rays.SOLUTION: An X-ray diagnostic apparatus irradiates a subject with X-rays limited to a scanning range predetermined for the subject, and obtains an image of the subject in the scanning range based on the obtained projection data.
