The present invention relates to an apparatus for preventing bruxism, which is capable of improving ease of use due to a little feeling of irritation and easy wearing and removal. According to the embodiment of the present invention, the apparatus for preventing bruxism comprises: a body part formed with a tooth groove to be fitted in any one of a mandibular anterior tooth part or a maxillary anterior tooth part made up of an incisal tooth, a lateral incisor tooth, a canine tooth； and a contact part formed at any one portion of the front surface or the rear surface of the body part, wherein the contact part is formed on the front surface of the body part and is in contact with the tongue side surface of the maxillary anterior tooth part when the body part is fitted to the mandibular anterior tooth part, and the contact part is formed on the rear part of the body part and is in contact with the outer surface of the mandibular anterior tooth part when the body part is fitted to the maxillary anterior tooth part.본 발명은 이물감이 적고 착용 및 제거가 용이하여 사용상의 편의성을 향상시킬 수 있는 이갈이 방지구에 관한 것이다.본 발명의 실시예에 따른 이갈이 방지구는 중절치, 측절치 및, 견치로 구성되는 하악 전치부 또는 상악 전치부 중 어느 하나에 끼워지는 치아홈이 형성된 몸체부와, 몸체부의 전면 또는 후면 중 어느 한 곳에 형성된 접촉부로 이루어지고, 접촉부는 몸체부가 하악 전치부에 끼워지는 경우 몸체부의 전면에 형성되어 상악 전치부의 설측면과 접촉되고, 몸체부가 상악 전치부에 끼워지는 경우 몸체부의 후면에 형성되어 하악 전치부의 외측면과 접촉되는 것을 특징으로 한다.
