PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a novel polypeptide having excellent angiogenesis-inducing activity and antibacterial activity, and an angiogenesis inducing agent containing the novel polypeptide.SOLUTION: The polypeptide is composed of a specific amino acid sequence. The polypeptide is effective in prevention/amelioration/treatment of diseases such as burns, decubitus, wounds, skin ulcers, leg ulcers, diabetic ulcers, and ulcers caused by occlusive arterial diseases, arteriosclerosis obliterans and the like.
