Described herein are compositions comprising particles of poorly soluble drugsencapsulated by stabilizers. Furtherdescribed are pharmaceutical compositions comprising such encapsulatedcompositions. Also described are methods of makingsuch encapsulated particle compositions, and methods of making thecorresponding pharmaceutical compositions. The encapsulatedparticle compositions described herein allow poorly soluble drugs to beadministered with good bioavailability by routes that arenon-invasive to patients, such as by oral administration.
