A patient interface for delivering breathable gas to a patient includes a nasal pillows assembly 5024 structured to sealingly communicate with nasal passages of a patient's nose, a headgear assembly to maintain the nasal pillows assembly in a desired position on the patient's face, a frame 5030, and an elbow 5040 including a first portion adapted to be connected to an open-ended tube portion of the frame that is structured to retain the elbow, and to be rotatable with respect to the frame to an elbow rotation position, and a second portion 5044 arranged at an angle with respect to the first portion. The second portion is adapted to be connected to an air supply to provide a supply of air at positive pressure to the nasal pillows assembly. The elbow includes a vent 5045 for gas washout, the vent including an array of small vent holes 5047 located in the elbow in such a way that the vent direction does not change with elbow rotation.
