PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an alcohol-free powdery pest-repelling composition not only excellent in pest-repelling effect, safety to human health and animals and feeling in use, but also satisfied in terms of the skin adhesion-sustained effect of its pest-repelling ingredient.SOLUTION: The powdery pest-repelling composition comprises (a) a pest-repelling ingredient, (b) one or two kinds of inorganic powder selected from talc, kaolin and bentonite, and (c) a silicic acid compound. In this composition, (d) a 3-6C glycol is compounded as the skin adhesion-sustaining agent for (a) the pest-repelling ingredient.
