The present invention discloses a method and an apparatus for calculating a radiation dose based on a tetrahedron phantom. A method of calculating a radiation dose based on a tetrahedron phantom according to the present invention includes the steps of (a) converting a polygon phantom converted from a voxel phantom into a tetrahedron phantom by using a tetrahedron algorithm； (b) applying a deformable vector field obtained from 4DCT to the tetrahedron phantom based on interpolation； and (c) dividing each surface of tetrahedrons constituting the tetrahedron phantom into plural virtual dose cells to calculate fine radiation doses of each divided virtual dose cell.본 발명은 사면체 팬텀 기반 방사선량 계산 방법 및 장치를 개시한다. 본 발명에 따른 방법은 (a) 복셀 펜텀으로부터 변환된 폴리곤 팬텀을 사면체화 알고리즘을 이용하여 사면체 팬텀으로 변환하는 단계； (b) 4DCT로부터 얻어지는 가변벡터장(Deformable Vector Field)을 내삽법에 기초하여 상기 사면체 팬텀에 적용하는 단계； 및 (c) 상기 사면체 팬텀을 구성하는 각 사면체의 각 면을 복수의 가상 셀로 구획하고, 상기 구획된 가상 셀(Dose Cell) 별로 미세 선량을 계산하는 단계를 포함할 수 있다.
