PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bowl for hair washing enabling a simple and reliable washing of the hair of a dead body or an alive person facing upward lying on a carpet.SOLUTION: A bowl 1 for hair washing is provided to be placed on a carpet 3 on which a dead body or an alive person is lying, the bowl including a bowl body 10 provided with a hair washing vacant space 9 having a top end that is open and a bottom. The bowl body 10 is provided with a neck portion receiving concavity 22 at a wall part 16a, and has a pillow part 26 for supporting a head portion 25 in a horizontal state at a bottom face 23 of the hair washing vacant space 9. Between the head portion 25 and the bottom face 23, a lower insertion vacant space is provided through which a hand can be inserted for the hair washing, and between a neck portion 20 and the side part of the neck portion receiving concavity 22, a lateral insertion vacant space is provided through which a hand can be inserted for the hair washing.
