FIELD: medicine.SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to bariatric surgery, and can be used in the treatment of obesity. To do this during the endoscopic intervention through tube-conductor is introduced intragastric stent, the working element of which is made of titanium nickelide (nitinol) – an alloy that has a memory of a predetermined form. Stent is hermetically sealed in a flexible tube made of a material resistant to the chemical environment of the stomach, having a straight form before installation. In established state, stent has the form of a cylindrical spring with at least two complete turns with an external diameter corresponding to the size of the patients stomach, and which, unlocking the walls of the stomach, creates the patient necessary and comfortable conditions for the treatment of obesity and a significant decrease in body weight.
