PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and a system by which a model is prepared to estimate the moving condition of users and the model is used to automatically estimate the moving condition of the users by using a portable terminal device.
SOLUTION: The method is used to estimate the moving condition of a portable terminal device provided with at least one CPU and a memory. The method includes: the step wherein, according to a difference of each parameter between a feature parameter wherein the CPU is comprised of one or a plurality of parameters stored in the memory in time series and each of representative feature parameters comprised of one or a plurality of parameters, one first cluster wherein the difference satisfies a first condition is selected from among the plurality of first clusters and the step wherein a moving condition satisfying a second condition is predetermined from the segment probability table for estimation that is computed on the basis of a first probability table corresponding to the selected first cluster, so as to estimate the moving condition of users.
