PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nonwoven fabric excellent in touch to the skin and cushion feeling, and an absorbent article using the same.SOLUTION: A plurality of hollow projections 24 are scattered in one surface 2a of a nonwoven fabric 2, and apertures 240 for communicating the inside and outside of the projections 24 are formed in a crown 24a at least in a part of the plurality of projections 24. In the projection 24 formed with the aperture 240, a distance between fibers of the constituent fiber existing in the crown 24a is equal to or more than a distance between fibers of the constituent fiber existing in a portion excluding the crown 24a.
