PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an X-ray CT apparatus capable of making the puncture work accurate and efficient.SOLUTION: An X-ray CT apparatus includes a multi-planar reconstruction (MPR) processing part, a specifying part, a displacement computing part, a scan control part, and a display control part. The MPR processing part creates a first MPR image based on first volume data obtained by a first scan. The specifying part specifies a needle tip position of a puncture needle in the created first MPR image. The displacement computing part finds the displacement between the specified needle tip position and the center of the first MPR image. The scan control part shifts the center of the first scan to cancel the displacement and executes a second scan. The display control part displays a second MPR image created by the MPR processing part based on second volume data obtained by the second scan on the same cross section as the first MPR image.
