Disclosed is a composition for tableting comprising an embedded lubrication matrix wherein the matrix consists of an oil finely dispersed in an oil insoluble material, and optionally a processing aide； wherein the embedded lubrication matrix is 0.3 percent to 8.8 percent of the composition； and wherein the composition is substantially free of stearate. Oils include Vitamin E, animal oil, synthetic oil, mineral oil, polyethylene glycol, silicon oil. Insoluble material includes: starch, dextrin, microcrystalline cellulose, ethylcelulose, gelatin, sugars, glucose, maltose, fructose, sorbitol, sucrose, mannitol, sorbitol, lactose, methylcellulose, hydroxypropylmethyl cellulose, maltodextrin, silicon dioxide, anhydrous dicalcium phosphate.
