The invention relates to a device for slotting a film web (2) forming part of a laminate web (1), wherein the device (10) has a conveying arrangement (11), a separating arrangement (12) and a laminating arrangement (15), wherein both the separating arrangement (12) and the laminating arrangement (15) rest on the conveying arrangement (11) or are at a distance thereto, said distance being smaller than or equal to the thickness of the laminate web (1), the laminating arrangement (15) being at a distance from the separating arrangement (12) and, relative to the conveying direction of the conveying arrangement (11), being arranged behind the separating arrangement (12), and a deflection arrangement (13) arranged, relative to the conveying direction of the conveying arrangement (11), between the separating arrangement and the laminating arrangement and at a distance to the first conveying arrangement (11), and a slotting device (14), which is designed to introduce a slot into the film web (2) separated on the separating arrangement (12) from the laminate (1) and guided around the deflection arrangement (13), before said film web is conveyed to the laminating arrangement (15) of the partial laminate web (5) guided by the conveying arrangement (11).
