PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an embolization therapy device that prevents or suppresses adhesion between an embolic agent ejected and the device by a simple structure.SOLUTION: An embolization therapy device 10 has a shaft 16 with an outlet 22 at the tip side, the shaft that is delivered in a blood vessel and can discharge an embolic agent. Also, the embolization therapy device 10 is disposed in the vicinity position of the outlet 22, and has a surface 14a that can be shifted from a reduced state to an expanded state spaced to the outside of the shaft 16, and also includes a cap 14 disengageable from the shaft 16.
