A kit for the implantation of a glenoid component comprising: a retroversion glenoid component (100) including a generally flat glenoid surface contacts the bone (106) that defines a foreground, extending a first displacement pin (116) of the contact surface of glenoid bone, a concave joint surface (104), an upper surface (109) extending over the concave joint surface and generally opposite to the contact surface glenoid bone, the upper surface defining a second plane, the second plane angled with respect to the first plane so that the body portion is generally wedge-shaped when viewed from the side, including the retroversion glenoid component a central pin (114) extending from the contact surface of glenoid bone and defining a central pin axis, the central pin axis forming an angle other than 9 0 degrees with the foreground, a drill guide (150) configured to guide a hole in the formation of a hole in a scapula to receive the first displacement pin, the drill guide including a bone guide contact surface of generally flat drilling (156) defining a third plane, extending a PEG drill guide pin (164) from a bottom of the drill guide and defining a drill guide pin shaft (166), forming the axis of drill guide pin an angle other than 90 degrees with the third plane, and a first drill guide hole (168) extending upward from a lower surface of the drill guide and defining a first hole axis of the drill guide, the first axis of the drill guide hole forming an angle other than 90 degrees with the third plane, at which a first minimum angle defined by the former e of drill guide pin and the third plane e equal to a second minimum angle defined by the first hole axis of the drill guide and the third plane and equal to a third minimum angle defined by the center pin axis and the foreground, and a pin placement guide (180) having a bone contact surface (192) defining a fourth plane, a first guide pin hole (188) extending upwardly from a lower portion of the guide pin placement and
