The design would have above waist height segments of walls rotatable to allow for indoor/outdoor vertical gardens. This would not only allow for maximum use of walls as one or both sides could be used for growing foliage, but most importantly it would allow for easier access to outside vertical gardens for easier maintenance. It is also possible that this portion of rotatable wall could be glass backed to allow natural lighting to some degree. In countries with a shortage of arable land, purpose built high rise buildings with sections of all four walls rotatable could be used to grow food.
