PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an endoscope controller capable of controlling the degree of opening of a vent and also performing control such that the function of the device is limited according to a rise in the temperature in the main body of the controller, which results from the control of the degree of opening.
SOLUTION: The endoscope device 100 includes an insertion section 2, a main body section 3, a display section 4, and a remote controller 5. The insertion section 2 has a curved part 9. The curved part 9 has an LED 10, an imaging device 11, and an objective optical system 12. The main body section 3 includes a curve control part 13, an LED drive part 14, an image processing part 15, an image storage/reproduction part 16, an operation mode switching part 17, a main control part 18, a vent 19, a vent opening/closing control part 20, a door 21, and a temperature detection part 22. The remote controller 5 includes an operation mode display part 6, vent condition display part 7, and an opening/closing selection switch 8.
