Replikacne defektní opicí adenovirový vektor, který v kapside opicího adenoviru obsahuje cis-elementy opicího adenoviru a heterologní gen operativne navázaný na sekvence rídící expresi, kde kapsida opicího adenoviru je odvozena z simpanzího adenoviru vybraného ze skupiny sestávající z Pan 5, Pan 6 a Pan 7. Zpusob prípravy tohoto vektoru, který zahrnuje spojení heterologního genu a ITR sekvence cis elementu opicího adenoviru. Lécivo, imunogenní kompozice a vakcína, zejména pro indukci cytotoxické imunitní reakce, obsahující výse uvedený rekombinantní adenovirus.In the present invention, there is disclosed a replication defective simian adenoviral vector, which contains in a capsid protein of a simian adenovirus cis-elements of the simian adenovirus and a heterologous gene operatively bound to expression-controlling sequences, wherein the capsid protein of the simian adenovirus is derived from a chimpanzee adenovirus being selected from the group consisting of Pan 5, Pan 6 and Pan 7. There is also disclosed a process for preparing such vector, wherein the preparation process comprises linkage of a heterologous gene and ITR sequence of the simian adenovirus cis-element. There are further disclosed a medicament, immunogenic composition and a vaccine, especially for inducing cytotoxic immune reaction containing the above-indicated recombinant adenovirus.
