PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a small size clamp mechanism for securely clamping two positions with different diameters of a cylindrical medicine container or the like to hold it.SOLUTION: The clamp mechanism 10 is structured to hold a container configured to include coaxial cylindrical parts with a plurality of diameters in the outer shape, and includes a first pawl part 11 to clamp the first cylindrical part of the container, a second pawl part 12 to clamp the second cylindrical part of the container, a first link part 13 to restrain opening/closing of first pawls 11a, 11b of the first pawl part 11 into a symmetric state with respect to plane-symmetric faces, a first drive shaft 11c engaged with the first pawl part 11, a second drive shaft 12c engaged with the second pawl part 12, and a differential part 14 to differentially link an open angle between the first pawl part 11 and the second pawl part 12.
