PURPOSE: A split for orthopedics is provided to form a shape almost perfectly according with a shape of a body part along a curvature of a part of articulation without forming a wrinkle in a folded part. CONSTITUTION: A split for orthopedics comprises an intermediate layer material(3), an upper and a lower surface layers(1,2). The intermediate layer material is elastic fabric spread by elastic fabric. The elastic fabric is formed of six symmetrical warping beams. A first beam and a sixth beams which are outermost warping beams is woven from polyester yarn of wide fabric. Inside the first and the sixth beams, a second beam and a fifth beam is woven from polyester yarn of narrow fabric. In the center part, a third beam and a fourth beam is woven from rubber fabric. The thickness of the fabric is 2-8 mm, the elongation in a lateral direction is 40-80 %, and the elongation in a longitudinal direction is 30-60 %.본 발명에 따른 정형외과용 부목은 더블라셀 경편기를 이용하여 제직된 신축직물에 수경화성 수지가 도포된 중간층 소재(3), 및 상기 중간층 소재의 상부 및 하부 표면에 접착되는 시술시에 쉽게 찢어지는 종이 재질이나 쉽게 늘어나는 합성주지 필름으로 이루어진 상하부 표피층(1, 2)으로 이루어진다. 상기 신축직물은 대칭으로 구성된 더블라셀 경편기에서 6 개의 정경 빔(beam)으로 이루어지고, 바깥쪽의 정경 빔인 제1 빔과 제6 빔은 태데니어의 폴리에스터사, 그 내부쪽의 정경 빔인 제2 빔과 제5 빔은 세데니어의 폴리에스터사, 그리고 중앙부의 정경 빔인 제3 빔과 제4 빔은 고무사(또는 ‘커버링사’라고도 함)로 제직된 것으로, 직물의 두께는 2～8 mm 범위이고, 가로방향의 신장율은 40～80 %이고, 세로방향의 신장율은 30～60 %인 것이 바람직하다.
