PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reel for fishing comprising a yarn drop prevention member capable of efficiently preventing entry of a fishing line to the inside of a spool.SOLUTION: A spinning reel for fishing comprises: a rotor 40 comprising a cylindrical part 41 and a pair of support arms 42, 43 a spool 60 comprising a front flange part 64 and a rear flange part 65 on front and rear sides of a fishing line winding trunk 63 and a yarn drop prevention member 80 for preventing entry of the fishing line to the inside of the spool 60. The yarn drop prevention member 80 comprises: a base end part 81 joint frames 82a, 82c extended from the base end part 81 to outside of a radial direction and an annular part 83 continuous to tip ends of the joint frames 82a, 82c.
