To provide a diagnostic phantom device of a biological optical measurement instrument capable of improving a diagnosis accuracy of the biological optical measurement instrument.
SOLUTION: This diagnostic phantom device includes a main scatterer 11, an auxiliary scatterer 12, a plurality of spacers 13, a diagnosis holder 14, an optical absorber 15 and a drive unit 16. The optical absorber 15 is disposed in the side of a second face 11b of the main scatterer 11 between the main scatterer 11 and the auxiliary scatterer 12. The optical absorber 15 absorbs a part of a light emitted from the second face 11b. The drive unit 16 supports the optical absorber 15 and moves the optical absorber 15 at a predetermined speed along a preset track within the second face 11b.
