The system of keeping poultry 1 comprises a lower tier 5 and beside it two upper tiers 7 where dust baths 9 for poultry 3 are located. The system 1 further includes displaceable partitions 11 which can be moved from and to the edges 13 of the upper tiers 7 facing the lower tier 5. The partitions 11 can be moved between a bottom position in which the hens 3 cannot hop or fly from the lower tier 5 to the upper tiers 7 while passing under the partition 11, but can indeed hop or fly from the upper tiers 7 to the lower tier 5 while passing under the partitions 11, and a top position in which the hens 3 can certainly hop or fly from the lower tier 5 to the upper tiers 7 while passing under the partitions 11.
