PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ultrasonic diagnostic apparatus which improves image quality of an ultrasonic image by correcting influence of refraction of ultrasonic waves.SOLUTION: An ultrasonic diagnostic apparatus generates ultrasonic image data on a subject via an ultrasonic diagnostic probe 1, and includes a specification part 25, a transmission/reception condition change part 26 and an image generation part 23. The specification part 25 specifies a feature portion which is included in a scan scope relating to the ultrasonic image data and has distinctive sound characteristics on the basis of three-dimensional image data on the subject preliminarily generated. The transmission/reception condition change part 26 changes the transmission/reception condition of the ultrasonic waves on the basis of the sound characteristics of the specified feature portion.
