A safety assembly for a medicament delivery device is presented that prevents premature activation or firing of the device during shipping or handling. The disclosed safety assembly uses a tubular cover partially contained inside of the housing of the delivery device that is axially slidable relative to the housing from a first position to a second position and then to a third position, the tubular cover having a housing nib and a cap nib, where each of the cap nib and housing nib protrudes radially outward from an outer surface of the tubular cover and are located at a proximal end of the tubular cover. In the first position the housing nib and cap nib are located outside of the housing with the housing nib abutting the terminal proximal face of the housing to prevent axial movement of tubular cover relative the housing.La présente invention concerne un ensemble de sécurité pour un dispositif d'administration de médicament qui empêche l'activation ou le déclenchement prématuré(e) du dispositif pendant l'expédition ou la manipulation. L'ensemble de sécurité selon l'invention utilise un couvercle tubulaire contenu partiellement à l'intérieur du boîtier du dispositif d'administration qui peut coulisser axialement par rapport au boîtier d'une première position à une seconde position, puis vers une troisième position, le couvercle tubulaire ayant une pointe de boîtier et une pointe de capuchon, chacune de la pointe de capuchon et de la pointe de boîtier faisant saillie radialement vers l'extérieur à partir d'une surface externe du couvercle tubulaire et étant située au niveau d'une extrémité proximale du couvercle tubulaire. Dans la première position, la pointe de boîtier et la pointe de capuchon sont situées à l'extérieur du boîtier, la pointe de boîtier venant en butée contre la face proximale de borne du boîtier pour empêcher un mouvement axial du couvercle tubulaire par rapport au boîtier.
