The present invention relates to an area expansion cage for spinal fusion. The cage comprises: a main body disposed between the vertebral body； an expansion unit provided on at least one of both sides of the main body and expanding in the lateral direction of the vertebral body； and an operation unit provided on the main body and expanding the expanding unit in the lateral direction of the vertebral body. Therefore, the expansion unit is located inside the main body between the vertebrae so as to expand in the lateral direction of the vertebral body to expand the area of the cage supporting the vertebral body. The area expanding cage for spinal fusion can expand the overall area of the vertebral body to support the vertebral body stably.본 발명은 척추융합술용 면적 확장 케이지에 관한 것으로, 척추체 사이에 배치되는 본체, 본체의 양 측 중 적어도 어느 한 측에 구비되며 척추체의 횡방향으로 확장되는 확장부, 상기 본체에 구비되어 상기 확장부를 척추체의 횡방향으로 확장시키는 작동부를 포함한다.따라서, 확장부가 본체 내부에 위치하여 척추체 사이로 삽입되고, 척추체 사이에서 확장부가 본체 외부로 인출되어 척추체의 횡방향으로 확장되어 척추체를 지지하는 케이지의 면적이 확장될 수 있다. 이에 척추융합술용 면적 확장 케이지는 본체가 척추체를 지지하는 것보다 전체적인 면적이 확장되어 척추체를 안정적으로 지지할 수 있다.
