The invention disclosed herein is a novel media milling process performed in an atmosphere of propellants(s) utilizing a resonant acoustic mixing (RAM) device. The process is utilized to reduce the particle size of API (optionally including excipients) to a respirable size range while ensuring the retention of the crystallinity of the milled API.La présente invention concerne un nouveau procédé de broyage de milieux conduit dans une atmosphère de propulseur(s) au moyen dun dispositif de mélange acoustique résonant (RAM). Le procédé est utilisé pour diminuer la taille de particule de substance pharmaceutique active (SPA) (comprenant facultativement des excipients) dans une plage de taille respirable tout en assurant la rétention de la cristallinité de la SPA broyée.
