The present specification provides a method of using the antibodies and binding to the prolactin receptor (PRLR). According to certain embodiments, the antibodies of the present disclosure is coupled with high affinity to the human PRLR. In certain embodiments, the present disclosure is coupled to the PRLR and prolactin-include antibodies that block the cell-mediated signaling. In another embodiment, the present disclosure is coupled to the PRLR but prolactin-mediated cell signaling and contains the antibodies that do not block. Antibodies of the present disclosure may be a fully human antibody. This specification includes an antibody wherein -PRLR bonded to another part harmful to a cytotoxic agent, a radionuclide, or cell growth or proliferation. The antibodies of the present specification are useful in the treatment of various cancers as well as other disorders associated PRLR-.
