A traction measurement mechanism, comprising: a traction frame configured to be attached to a vehicle frame, the traction frame having left and right supports configured to couple to respective left and right longitudinal rods; a traction pad having a left end attached to the front side of the left support, and the right end attached to the front side of the right support, while the traction lining may be deformed in response to the traction forces applied to the left and right supports; a traction sensor attached to the traction pad, while the sensor generates a traction signal in response to deformation of the traction pad. 2. The traction measurement mechanism according to claim 1, wherein: the sensor is attached to the front side of the traction lining. 3. The traction measuring mechanism according to claim 1, wherein: the traction frame comprises a central body adapted to be attached to the vehicle frame, the left support protruding from the left front corner of the body and the right support protruding from the right front corner of the body.
