The present invention discloses compounds of Formula (I), or pharmaceutically acceptable salts, esters, or prodrugs thereof: which inhibit RNA-containing virus, particularly the hepatitis C virus (HCV). Consequently, the compounds of the present invention interfere with the life cycle of the hepatitis C virus and are also useful as antiviral agents. The present invention further relates to pharmaceutical compositions comprising the aforementioned compounds for administration to a subject suffering from HCV infection. The invention also relates to methods of treating an HCV infection in a subject by administering a pharmaceutical composition comprising the compounds of the present invention.La présente invention divulgue des composés de Formule (I), ou des sels, des esters ou des promédicaments de ceux-ci pharmaceutiquement acceptables, qui inhibent des virus contenant de lARN, en particulier le virus de lhépatite C (HCV). Par conséquent, les composés de la présente invention interfèrent avec le cycle de vie du virus de lhépatite C et sont aussi utiles comme agents antiviraux. La présente invention concerne en plus des compositions pharmaceutiques comprenant les composés ci-avant mentionnés pour ladministration à un sujet souffrant dune infection par le HCV. Linvention concerne aussi des procédés de traitement dune infection par le HCV chez un sujet par administration dune composition pharmaceutique comprenant les composés de la présente invention.
