The present invention relates to an inferior vena cava filter and a surgical procedure kit for installing an inferior vena cava filter comprising the same wherein, more specifically, the inferior vena cava filter can filter blood clots while the same is placed on a predetermined location of inferior vena cava to temporarily prevent the formation of pulmonary emboli. According to the present invention, the surgical procedure kit for installing an inferior vena cava filter comprises: an inferior vena cava filter which filters blood clots, flowing in a relevant blood vessel, while the same is inserted and placed in the blood vessel； and a catheter which is inserted in the blood vessel, while the same accommodates the inferior vena cava filter therein, and is used as a relevant tool to place the inferior vena cava filter in a predetermined location in the blood vessel or to remove the inferior vena cava filter afterwards. The inferior vena cava filter comprises: a blood clot capturing unit which is formed in the shape of a spiral cone by making one strand of iron wire into a three-dimensional shape and thus captures blood clots, flowing in a relevant blood vessel； and a tool joining head unit which is integrally formed on an upper end tip of the blood clot capturing unit and enables a relevant tool, used for installing the inferior vena cava, to be joined and operated.본 발명은 하대정맥 필터 및 이를 포함하는 하대정맥 필터 설치술용 시술키트에 관한 것으로, 더욱 상세하게는 폐색전증의 한시적 예방을 위해 하대정맥(inferior vena cava, 下大靜脈) 내 정해진 위치에 유치(留置)된 상태로 혈전을 걸러줄 수 있도록 한 하대정맥 필터 및 이를 포함하는 하대정맥 필터 설치술용 시술키트에 관한 것이다.본 발명에 따르면, 혈관 내부에 삽입 유치된 상태로, 해당 혈관을 따라 흐르는 혈전을 걸러내는 하대정맥 필터； 및, 상기 하대정맥 필터를 내재수용한 상태로, 혈관 내부로 삽입된 후 혈관 내 정해진 위치에 상기 하대정맥 필터를 유치시키거나 혹은 향후 상기 하대정맥 필터 제거함에 사용하는 관련기구인 카테터；를 포함하되, 상기 하대정맥 필터는, 한 가닥의 철선을 이용한 입체적 형상의 구현을 통해 나선형 원뿔형태를 이룸으로써 혈관 내 유치시 해당 혈관을 따라 흐르는 혈전을 중도포집하는 혈전포착부와, 상기 혈전포착부의 상단 꼭짓점에 일체로 형성되어 하대정맥 필터 설치술에 사용되는 관련기구의 연결 조작이 가능토록 한 기구결속헤드부로 구성된 것을 특징으로 한다.
