Disclosed is a batch of ocular microimplants comprising: a plurality of microimplants having a desired target mass per microimplant, wherein each microimplant comprises a homogeneous mixture of one or more active ingredients and one or more bioerodible polymers (preferably a polylactic acid polyglycolic acid (PLGA) copolymer or a mixture of polylactic acid polyglycolic acid (PLGA) copolymer and polylactic acid polyglycolic acid (PLGA) copolymer having a free acid end, has a diameter of 0.019 inches or less, and has a mass within 10% by weight of the desired target mass said batch of ocular microimplants may further comprise hydroxypropylmethylcellulose (HPMC).
