PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a magnetic resonance imaging apparatus that allows an operator to easily specify imaging parameters for which the operator wants to copy the parameter values and imaging parameters for which the operator does not want to copy the parameter values.SOLUTION: A magnetic resonance imaging apparatus includes a selection unit, an identification unit, and a display control unit. The selection unit selects a first series and a second series out of a plurality of series for which imaging conditions including a plurality of imaging parameters have been set. The identification unit identifies imaging parameters for which parameter values differing between the first series and the second series are set.
