PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a catheter device in which a needle retracted from a catheter is located in a protection position inside a cylindrical receptacle.SOLUTION: A catheter device comprises: a catheter hub in which a valve member 7 is arranged； a needle 9 which is fixed in a needle hub 11 and penetrates through the valve member in the catheter hub in a ready position； and a cylindrical receptacle 8 in which the needle hub is guided to be displaced in the cylindrical receptacle and is biased by a spring 13 in a proximal direction relative to the receptacle.
