PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a distance measurement device which is capable of measuring a long distance and reduces power consumption.SOLUTION: According to the distance measurement device, an arithmetic circuit 65 outputs a corrected output signal (B×Aave) for which an output signal B of a far infrared sensor 14 is corrected based on an emittance of an object 50 to be measured, so that a thermal infrared sensor which could be used only for a non-contact thermometer conventionally is made available as a passive distance measuring sensor 22 and it is not necessary to emit infrared rays at all the time, so that power consumption is reduced. Furthermore, when measuring a short distance for which a distance to the object 50 to be measured is a first distance (80 cm) or less, an output signal of a reflection type distance measuring sensor 21 is used as a distance measurement signal, so that a distance can be measured accurately with relatively reduced power consumption.COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT【課題】長距離の測定が可能で、かつ、低消費電力である距離測定装置を提供する。【解決手段】この距離測定装置によれば、演算回路65は、遠赤外線センサ14の出力信号Bを被測定物50の放射率に基づいて補正した補正出力信号(B×Aave)を出力するから、従来は非接触温度計にしか使えなかった熱型の赤外線センサを、パッシブ型の距離測定センサ22として使用可能になると共に、赤外線を常に発光する必要が無いことから、消費電力が小さくて済む。また、一方、被測定物50までの距離が第1の距離(80cm)以下の短距離の測定には、反射型の距離測定センサ21の出力信号を距離測定信号として用いるので、比較的少ない消費電力で正確に距離測定できる。【選択図】図2A
