The spraying appliance for large-area cultivation in agriculture consists of two axial fans which are arranged on an undercarriage and which force the air sucked in at the front into a rearwardly opened blower housing, in the outlet orifices of which nozzle bars with nozzles arranged on them for the spraying of a spraying agent are arranged. In order to obtain a homogeneous distribution of the spraying agent in the air stream and a homogeneous air stream, the blower housing has the shape of an approximately rectangular vertical box, in the bottom surface of which, located at the front in the frontal direction, are fastened two oppositely rotating axial fans arranged at a distance one above the other.
