Disclosed is a method for propagating a grass plant, comprising: (a) treating a stem of a grass plant or a segment thereof with a composition comprising: an auxin at about 1 ppm to about 10,000 ppm, a cytokinin at about 1 ppm to about 10,000 ppm, and polyaspartic acid at about 1 ppm to about 250,000 ppm； (b) harvesting the stem treated in step (a)； and (c) planting the stem harvested in step (b).
