The skin contacting surface is provided with an excretory portion contacting area (A) which is located roughly in the center of the longitudinal direction of the absorbent article (1) and which contacts the vicinity of the excretory portion of the wearer, a front area (B) which is located in front of the excretory portion contacting area (A), and a rear area (C) which is located to the rear of the excretory portion contacting area (A).
