An optical coherence tomographic apparatus which obtains a tomographic image by combining return light from an object irradiated with measurement light through a first lens (101-1) and corresponding reference light, comprising: scanning means (122-1, 122-2) for being provided on an optical path of the measurement light and scanning the measurement light on the object; a second lens (101-3) for being disposed between the scanning means (122-1, 122-2)and the first lens(101-1) on the optical path of the measurement light; and branching means (103) for being disposed between the first and second lenses (101-1, 101-3) and making the optical path of the measurement light branch off to an observation optical path for observation of the object; wherein the second lens (101-3) and the scanning means (122-1, 122-2) are disposed so as to hold an incident angle of the measurement light scanned by the scanning means (122-1, 122-2) on the optical path branching means (103).
