PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To manufacture inexpensively a lightweight walking aid with which a person having a disorder on a portion below a knee of one leg resulting from a bone fracture, Achilles tendon rupture or the like can walk easily without relying on arm strength and with an alternating leg-extending gait similar to that of a healthy person.SOLUTION: A walking aid has a structure in which the weight of a wearer is supported in a wide range in the front-to-back direction by using a laminate 11 including a hollow core layer such as a honeycomb structure or an expanded material and front and rear skin sheets on a part requiring a height, having a width in the front-to-back direction and in the height direction, and having strength and flexural rigidity in spite of having a light weight.COPYRIGHT: (C)2014,JPO&INPIT【課題】骨折やアキレス腱断裂等により、一方の脚の膝より下の部位に障害を持つ人が、腕の力に頼らずに、健常者に近い脚を交互に振り出す歩き方で楽に歩行することを可能とする歩行補助具を、軽量、安価に製作することを目的とする。【解決手段】高さを稼ぐ部分に、ハニカム構造や発泡体等の中空コア層と表裏のスキンシートを備えた、前後方向と高さ方向に幅のある、軽量なわりに強度と曲げ剛性の高い積層体11を用いて装着者の体重を前後方向に広い幅をもって支える構造とした。【選択図】図1
