PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wheelchair with a brake constituted so as to smoothly brake the rear wheel of the wheelchair or releasing the braked state of the rear wheel of the wheelchair by a brake member.SOLUTION: The wheelchair with the brake includes the seat cushion body 15 mounted on a seat part 5 so as to be revolvable centering around the front end part thereof, an operation belt 25 of which the midway part is arranged on the undersurface side of the seat cushion body, a guide roller 29 for guiding both end parts of the operation belt in the lower direction of both sides of a car body 1, a tensile spring 34 for elastically pulling both end parts of the operation belt downward, the connection link 36 connected to the terminal of the operation belt at one end thereof while connected to the car body at the other end part thereof in a revolvable manner and revolved when the seat cushion body is revolved centering around the front end part to move both end parts of the operation belt in up and down directions and an operating link mechanism 45 provided so as to be operated in connection with the revolution of the connection link and displacing the brake member 44 to a state separating the brake member from the rear wheel by the revolution direction of the connection link to release a brake or a state bringing the brake member into contact with the rear wheel under pressure to apply the brakes.COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT【課題】この発明は車椅子の後輪にブレーキ部材によって円滑にブレーキをかけたり、ブレーキ状態を解除できるようにした車椅子を提供することにある。【解決手段】座部5に前端部を支点として回動可能に載置される座クッション体15と、中途部が座クッション体の下面側に配置された作動ベルト25と、作動ベルトの両端部を車体1の両側の下方向に導くガイドローラ29と、作動ベルトの両端部を下方に向かって弾性的に引張りばね34と、一端が作動ベルトの末端に連結され他端が車体に回動可能に連結されていて、座クッション体が前端部を支点として回動して作動ベルトの両端部が上下方向に移動したときに回動する連結リンク36と、連結リンクの回動に連動して作動するよう設けられ連結リンクの回動方向によってブレーキ部材44を後輪から離してブレーキを解除する状態或いはブレーキ部材を後輪に圧接させてブレーキをかける状態に変位させる作動リンク機構45を具備する。【選択図】 図6
