The mulching film comprises transversely five successive distinct parts with a central portion (P1) which is blank, on either side thereof, a portion (P2) (P3) which receives zones (Z1) each having a multiplicity of slots (3) and arranged in superposition of the sowing area. The end portions (P4) (P5) of the film are buried to provide wind stability and ballasting of the film.
