PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inexpensive liquid detection sensor and to provide a liquid detection device capable of detecting presence of a liquid reliably.SOLUTION: In a liquid detection sensor 21, with a flexible sheet-like film 22 being a base material, by depositing a film by coating or printing by using conductive ink on the base material, a resonance circuit of a capacitor and a coil conductor 27 is formed. A coil conductor breaking layer 25 for cutting a coil conductor by expanding containing moisture or by dissolving is arranged between the base material and the coil conductor. On the other hand, a liquid detection device includes: detection electromagnetic wave emitting means 13 for sweeping and emitting a frequency of a detection electromagnetic wave with respect to the liquid detection sensor 21 and determination means 14 for determining a wet state by a liquid or a dry state in an inspection object by detecting change of a transmission side current in the detection electromagnetic wave emitting means when coinciding with a resonance frequency of the liquid detection sensor.
