PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a culvert drain pipe laying apparatus capable of continuously supplying a hydrophobic material on a culvert drain pipe at the same time while laying the culvert drain pipe in soil, and accurately laminating the thickness of each hydrophobic material.SOLUTION: The culvert drain pipe laying apparatus 2 laminating a first hydrophobic material and a second hydrophobic material on the culvert drain pipe includes a horizontal transfer conveyor receiving the first hydrophobic material from a first hydrophobic material hopper 7, and an excavating body 11 disposed at the lower part of the horizontal frame 3 to form a vertical ditch. The rear part of the excavating body 11 is provided with a culvert drain pipe guide part 15 guiding the culvert drain pipe to deliver it into the vertical ditch, and the carry-out side of the horizontal transfer conveyor is connected to a cylindrical hydrophobic material supply chute 19. A vertical transfer conveyor 20 vertically conveying the hydrophobic material downward is arranged in the hydrophobic material supply chute 19.
