Power. Said barley plant, or part thereof, comprises a lox-1 gene that encodes a mutated form of LOX-1, lacking some or all of amino acids 520-862 of LOX-1 resulting in a total loss of functional lipoxygenase (LOX)-1 enzyme, and said barley plant comprises a lox-2 gene that encodes a mutated form of LOX-2 lacking some or all of amino acids 515-717 of LOX-2 resulting in a total loss of functional LOX-2 enzyme.
